“As the line between decorative arts and fine art continues to blur, I try to educate my clients on the wisdom of investing in pieces with real and lasting value as opposed to disposable design.”

“While it’s great getting to create things completely on my own terms, there is something to be said for the collaborative process. What I value when working with clients is that you don't necessarily get to have everything your way; there are boundaries, existing conditions and differing points of view that on the surface can seem limiting, but in fact can push you to be more creative, to do wonderful and unexpected things.”

“Growing up I was always rearranging things at our home; at school I would daydream about how to make the classrooms more beautiful and I was always keenly sensitive to the importance of lighting in a space. When my parents let me design my own bedroom as a teenager I was mesmerised by the power of design to transform a space and deepen your own connection to your surroundings.”
